Roberts Nets CAA Weekly Honors

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Senior defender Jake Roberts has garnered Coastal Athletic Association Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors after his game-winning goal against Elon last Saturday.

Roberts scored the deciding goal, his first of the 2026 campaign, on a free kick assisted by midfielders Osei Gyamfi and Kieran Radke in the seventh minute vs. the Phoenix and then anchored a backline that produced its fourth straight shutout.

The Seahawks are one of four remaining NCAA Division I programs to not concede a goal this season. 

UNCW continues league play at home against William & Mary on Saturday at 6 p.m. as part of Alumni Weekend.
