CLINCHING SCENARIOS
The Seahawks have already locked up the top seed in the CAA South, along with the coveted bye to the South Finals to be played in Wilmington on Nov. 8. It marks the third straight year UNCW will play in the CAA Tournament and a league-record 30th time overall.

Still on the line is the right to secure hosting rights throughout the tournament for a potential CAA Championship Game. A win on Saturday would lock up hosting rights, while a Stony Brook tie or loss at Monmouth earlier Saturday would also ensure the Seahawks an opportunity to host the finals for the first time since 2019.

SERIES HISTORY
UNCW claimed the first meeting between the two schools on Sept. 27 in Charleston with a 78th minute header to break a 1-1 tie. The goal was initially waved off for offsides before video review confirmed Keay was onside, putting UNCW ahead with under 12 minutes to go.

The Seahawks stand 14-8-5 all time against the Cougars, including a 8-3-4 mark in league play.

LAST TIME OUT
UNCW locked up the 2026 CAA South crown with a scoreless tie at Elon that came down to the final moments.
