Miralrio Claims CAA Weekly Honors

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW senior Bryan Miralrio claimed Coastal Athletic Association Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors following his go-ahead goal in a Senior Night win over Charleston last Saturday.

Miralrio fired an off-balance strike into the top right of the goal to break the scoreless tie six minutes into the second half. The score represented a full-circle moment for Miralrio on his Senior Night after he scored the game-winning goal in his UNCW debut in 2023 and was honored by the conference the following week with Rookie of the Week honors.

The nationally ranked Seahawks went on to win 2-1 and locked up hosting rights throughout the CAA Tournament with the win.

A team captain, Miralrio has started 11 of 12 games and matched his career-high with four goals this season, including two game-winners.

UNCW closes out the regular season at William & Mary next Saturday at 2 p.m. The Seahawks will then host the CAA South Final on Nov. 8.
