Swimming & Diving Announces Incoming Class

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW Head Swimming & Diving Coach Jason Memont has announced the addition of 23 swimmers and divers to the program for the 2015-16 season.

"We are very excited to announce this first recruiting class," said Memont. "It was important for us as a coaching staff to recruit high-quality, talented student-athletes to build our future team around. There is a lot of depth in this class that will help us build the type of team that UNCW can be proud of. This class is built upon strong recruiting in North Carolina, but also shows that UNCW has national appeal because we were able to reach all the way across the country. I want to thank Beau Bunn and Alex de la Pena for their tireless efforts in bringing in such a large and talented group of student-athletes."

The Seahawks open their second season under the direction of Memont on Sept. 25 when they host nationally-ranked Tennessee.
