Season-Bests Fall On Saturday For UNCW Women

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Lauren Sharp finished third in the 100 Breaststroke and Quinn Bike was fifth in the 100 Backstroke as both times cracked UNCW's records lists on Saturday at the Cavalier Invitational.

Six Seahawks, including Sharpe and Bike, posted season-best times.

Sharp fashioned a time of 1:04.01 to place this in the 100 Breaststroke and ranked her 10th all-time at UNCW. Bike, meanwhile, posted a time of 55.08 seconds in the preliminaries, good for fourth all-time.

Hannah Owings was fourth in the 100 Breaststroke with a season-best mark of 1:04.95.

Also setting season-best marks were Molly Braun in the 100 Fly (56.63) and Katie Kondratick (51.89) and Cassidy Lima (52.17) in the 100 Free.

The meet concludes on Sunday with the prelims at 10 a.m. and the finals getting underway at 5 p.m.
