Woods Announces Six Additions to 2026-27 Roster

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's basketball head coach Nicole Woods announced the addition of six student-athletes to the 2026-27 roster, including five transfers and one freshman.

"All of these players have a few things in common," said Woods. "They are fearless and have a toughness about themselves that will set the foundation for this season. We are looking forward to continuing to build, and these young women are great building blocks."

More information on each signee, including full bios and comments from Woods, is available by clicking each student-athlete's name below.

Leah Keyes (Stafford, Va., George Mason):
"Leah brings championship DNA and toughness to our program," Woods said. "She's someone I've kept an eye on for a long time. I believe she will bring the energy and versatility we need to take our program to another level."

Promise Njoku (Washington, D.C., Mt. Zion Prep High School):
"Promise is the ultimate competitor and approaches every possession as if it is her last," Woods said. "She's a slashing guard with the potential to be an impact player on both ends. Her future is bright."

Bella Toomey (Philadelphia, Pa., Fairleigh Dickinson University):
"Bella brings championship DNA and Philly toughness to our program," Woods said. "She is a hard worker and a versatile post player. Fearless is a word I use to describe Bella. She is ready for this moment, and I believe she will be a fan favorite."

Kimmie Hicks (Annapolis, Md., Loyola Maryland):
"Kimmie brings an ability to score in transition and get to the paint that will enhance our team," Woods said. "She is hungry for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see what she does in a Seahawk uniform."

Sienna Dauer (Bradenton, Fla., Davidson):
"Sienna comes from a winning background at every level," Woods said. "She's a big guard who can impact the game on both ends of the court. She brings a toughness that will help elevate our program."

Loghan Johnson (Houston, Texas, West Virginia University):
"Loghan is a former Top 100 guard in the country," Woods said. "She's a dynamic wing who plays with the physical presence needed to win. She is also a tough defender, and I can't wait to see what she does here."
