Beach Volleyball Splits Saturday Duals

CHARLESTON, S.C. – UNCW concluded its South Carolina Derby appearance by splitting a pair of duals, losing to Coastal Carolina and topping host College of Charleston, both by the scores of 4-1.

UNCW moved to 7-13 on the season with the split.

Against Coastal, only the pair of Gracie Sistrunk and Lyvia Trimp won. The duo won in three sets, including a 15-12 win in the deciding set.

The Seahawks beat Charleston for the fourth time this season and the 16th time in-a-row. Sistrunk and Trimp pushed their record to 12-7 with their fourth straight victory.

UNCW visits Georgia State and Mercer next weekend for the mid-season Sun Belt Conference Duals.
