UNCW Set To Host MET-Rx & Pure Protein Fall Beach Volleyball Qualifier

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW will host the MET-Rx & Pure Protein UNCW Fall Beach Volleyball National Qualifier on Oct. 16-17 at Capt'n Bill's Backyard Grill and Volleyball Facility.

Joining the Seahawks are pairs from Morehead State, Chattanooga, South Carolina, the College of Charleston, Georgia State, Catawba, North Alabama and Stephen F. Austin.

The 16-pair field will compete over two days for three bids to the AVCA Pairs National Championship.

The qualifier returns to Wilmington and Capt'n Bill's for the second straight year. Last season, former UNCW standouts Gracie Sistrunk and Gabby LaPata advanced to the Nationals and posted a 2-3 mark with victories over pairs from Jacksonville and Florida State.
