WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW men's basketball team continues its three-game road swing at Hampton on Saturday at Noon at the Hampton Convocation Center.

SERIES INFO
UNCW leads the all-time series 7-2 over Hampton, including a 49-45 win this season on New Year's Eve in Wilmington. That game was the first time both teams were held under 50 in a conference game since Feb. 11, 2016.

The Seahawks are 5-1 against the Pirates since Hampton joined the CAA in 2022-23.

LAST TIME OUT
Five players reached double figures, including a pair of double-doubles by Patrick Wessler (15 points, 13 rebounds) and Nolan Hodge (10 points, 12 rebounds), but William & Mary used a 18-1 first half run to turn back the Seahawks 77-70.

MEN'S HOOPS CELEBRATES 75 SEASONS
No one could have imagined the heights the UNCW men's basketball program has experienced when William J. "Bill" Brooks was hired as Wilmington College's first athletic director, basketball coach, baseball coach and chairman of the health and physical education department in September of 1951.

Now, as the program prepares for its 75th season since the hiring of Coach Brooks, reflections on memorable moments and milestones, highlighted by Tidal Rising, a historic men's basketball documentary series presented by Southeast Mortgage, will be celebrated throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

SCOUTING THE PIRATES
Hampton carries a two-game win stretch into Saturday's home contest against UNCW. The Pirates are undefeated in their last 11 home contests dating back to the end of last season, including 7-0 at home following Thursday's narrow 65-63 win over Monmouth.

ON THE DOCKET
The Seahawks close out the front nine of conference play next Thursday at preseason favorite Towson. The game will are nationally at 9 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
