Basketball Season Tickets Now On Sale

Home non-conference schedules for both programs announced

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Season tickets for the 2026-27 UNCW men's and women's basketball seasons are on sale now to the general public.

Both teams will bring nine home games against Coastal Athletic Association opponents to Trask Coliseum in addition to nine non-conference foes on the men's side and six non-conference opponents for the women's team.

The men's program enters its seventh season under head coach Takayo Siddle, who guided the Seahawks to their league record-extending 10th CAA regular season crown and the program's first National Invitation Tournament win last season. In Coach Siddle's tenure, UNCW has won at least 20 games in five straight seasons for the first time in program history.

Home non-conference opponents for the Seahawks include Division II Mount Olive, 2026 NIT participant Kent State, Louisiana, Radford, and NAIA Columbia College (S.C.).

The Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic also returns from Nov. 25-28, welcoming Liberty, Princeton and St. Thomas (Minnesota). The round-robin event features three teams that won more than 24 games last year, three 2026 NIT participants, and two regular season conference champions.

Home CAA men's opponents include Campbell, Charleston, Elon, North Carolina A&T, Towson, William & Mary, Hampton, Northeastern and Stony Brook. Dates for league games will be announced at a later date.

The women's basketball program enters the 2026-27 campaign under head coach Nicole Woods, who begins her fourth season at UNCW with 11 newcomers on the roster, including five freshmen and six transfers. The Seahawks advanced in the CAA Tournament for the first time since 2021 last season.

UNCW will host six non-conference games at Trask, facing Division II Barton, North Carolina Central, East Carolina, Division II Mount Olive, Bowling Green and Gardner-Webb before the start of league play.

Home CAA women's opponents include Campbell, Charleston, Hampton, North Carolina A&T, Northeastern, William & Mary, Monmouth, Stony Brook and Towson. Dates for league games will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for men's basketball start at $179. Certain sections require a seat donation payable to the Seahawk Club. Women's basketball tickets begin at $99 for reserved and general admission seating.
