WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's basketball finalized its 2025-26 schedule with the announcement of dates for conference games by the Coastal Athletic Association on Tuesday morning.

The Seahawks will play 29 regular-season games, featuring 13 home games and 16 road contests. UNCW will kick off the season with an exhibition game against Barton College (Oct. 29) at 7 p.m. 

UNCW will play 18 conference games during the 2025-26 season. Last season, the Seahawks won eight conference games, matching the total of the previous four seasons combined. 

CAA play begins with a pair of home games against Northeastern (Jan. 2) and Hofstra (Jan. 4). The Seahawks will also have three straight conference games at home in January against Elon (Jan. 16), Drexel (Jan. 18), and Charleston (Jan. 23).

Additional conference home games include matchups against Hampton (Jan. 30), North Carolina A&T (Feb. 13), Campbell (Feb. 15), and the 2025 CAA Champions, William & Mary (Mar. 1).

The 2026 CAA Women's Basketball Championship returns to CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. from March 11-15.

The 11-game non-conference schedule features home games against Coastal Carolina (Nov. 12), Presbyterian (Nov. 21), Queens (Nov. 30), and Columbia International (Dec. 29).
