Women's Basketball Preview: William & Mary

Sveen seniors to be recognized before the 1 p.m. start

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks welcome William & Mary to Trask Coliseum for the final home game of the season, which serves as Senior Day. Seven Seahawks will be recognized before the 1 p.m. start.

UNCW and the Tribe enter the game looking to right the ship as both have multiple-game losing streaks. The Seahawks fell at Hofstra on Feb. 22, while the Tribe lost Friday at regular season champion College of Charleston.

The two programs last met on Feb. 1 with the Tribe besting UNCW, 79-68, in Williamsburg. UNCW's Kyah Silverpoured in a career-high 27 points in the loss, finishing 11-for-17 from the field.

UNCW concludes the regular season next weekend with a swing through the Triad region with games at North Carolina A&T (Mar. 5) and Elon (Mar. 7).
