RALEIGH, North Carolina – UNCW men's golf's Gray Mitchum and Preston Worch closed out the Stitch Intercollegiate tied for 14th place at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course from Apr. 11-12.

Mitchum ascended 20 spots in the third round with a three-under 68 score to close out play for the Seahawks, who authored a 293-293-283=869 tournament score to place 7th in the 13-team field.

Lipscomb claimed the team title by three strokes ahead of UNC Greensboro. Host NC State rounded out the top three with a 280 third-round team score.

The Wolfpack's Michael Vick edged out the Bisons' Alejandro Rodriguez by one stroke for individual medalist honors.

The Seahawks next aim for their second Coastal Athletic Association championship in three years at the 2025 CAA Championships at the Union League Golf Club in Swainton, N.J. from Apr. 20-22.
