DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – UNCW's Preston Worch posted an eighth-place finish to lead the UNCW men's golf team at the 2025 Daytona Beach Intercollegiate from Mar. 3-4 at the LPGA International.

The Seahawks finished sixth of 15 teams with a 289-303-310=902 score across the three-round, two-day tournament. Troy cruised to the team title, 18 strokes ahead of host Stetson.

The Trojans' Brantley Scott edged North Alabama's Xing Luo by two strikes for individual medalist honors.

UNCW's Gray Mitchum collected 16th place with a four-over par third round.

The Seahawks next turn their attention to the Seminole Intercollegiate hosted by Florida State from Mar. 10-11 in Thomasville, Ga.
