The Time Is Now

Our men's basketball program has enjoyed historic success this decade, culminating in a league-record seventh CAA Championship earlier this month. This was achieved through the togetherness of a dedicated coaching staff, resilient players, and a committed fan base. From Trask Coliseum to Washington, D.C. and Wichita, Kansas, Seahawk Nation showed up and showed out.

As we celebrate, we are reminded of the reward that strong financial investment can have in the pursuit of titles. Championships are simply not possible without the support of an invested and energetic fan base.

The opportunity to elevate our program starts with a heightened investment in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), memberships with the Seahawk Club, and purchasing season tickets.

At UNCW, championship aspirations do not just feel obtainable but have proven to be possible when each of us steps up and commits the resources needed to be successful. The time is now for Seahawk Nation to further cement our status as one of the premier programs in the country through all facets of giving.

In Tidal Town, we don't just admire our victories. We intend to build upon our championships to ensure we are athletically, academically and philanthropically prepared to compete at the top for years to come. I look forward to seeing where our future takes us, thanks to your needed and appreciated contributions.

Our Seahawk Pride Will Never Fail,
Mike Oblinger
