WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's basketball hosts Queens University of Charlotte in the first-ever meeting between the programs on Sunday, Nov. 30, at 1 p.m.

Three Seahawks scored in double figures in the wire-to-wire, 75-55 victory for UNCW against Presbyterian in the annual Seahawks Tomorrow Game in front of 2,893 fans at Trask Coliseum on Nov. 21.

UNCW shot a season-best 26-for-48 (54%), while Presbyterian shot just 21-of-62 (34%) in the contest. UNCW also had a 42-31 edge in rebounds and a 36-30 advantage in points in the paint.

Redshirt sophomore guard Kylah Silver played a team-high 36 minutes against Presbyterian and recorded her second double-double of the season. 

Silver set new career-highs with 22 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 8-for-11 from the field.

Silver is averaging 13.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 season.

Graduate guard Rori Cox leads the team with 14.4 points and 3.2 assists per game. In the win against Presbyterian, Cox recorded 19 points, including 13 in the second half. 

Cox shot 8-of-10 from the free-throw line and also had five rebounds and four assists. Cox has scored 20 or more points twice this season, including 21 in the win against NC Central on Nov. 7.

Torin Rogers, a redshirt junior forward, also set a new career-high in points against Presbyterian, finishing with 18 while hauling in six rebounds. 

Rogers shot 7-of-9 from the field and 2-of-3 from 3-point range in 32 minutes. She is averaging 8.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

NEW AT TRASK

Several amenities and concession enhancements will welcome fans to Trask Coliseum as the UNCW men's and women's basketball programs open the 2025-26 season.

Improvements have been made with the fan experience in mind, highlighted by an upgraded lighting system and improved Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the coliseum. 

More concession speed lines will be available throughout the building to reduce wait times and get fans back to the gameday action.

In addition, several new concession options will be available this year, including select discounted concessions up to 30 minutes before tip-off, souvenir cup options, specialty items, and a kids' meal.

SCOUTING THE ROYALS

6-foot-1-inch sophomore forward Brenae Jones-Grant is averaging 13.2 points and 8.7 rebounds. Jones-Grant leads the ASUN in offensive rebounds and ranks second in the league with 52 rebounds.

Jones-Grant tallied 10 points and seven rebounds in Queens' setback against No. 2 South Carolina last Sunday.

Senior guard Ana Barreto is averaging 12.0 points per game and ranks second in the ASUN with 18 made 3-pointers. Barreto is shooting 36.0 percent from beyond the arc during the 2025-26 campaign.

The Seahawks will travel to West Georgia on Dec. 3. West Georgia defeated UNCW on Dec. 5, 2024, in Wilmington last season, 70-66.
