Sandy Hawks Improve To 4-0 With Sweep

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Bri Haggerty and Grace Sistrunk rallied from a 1-0 deficit to deliver the clinching point in UNCW's 3-2 win over Coastal Carolina on Saturday at the Wheeler Beach Volleyball Complex. UNCW opened the day with a 4-1 win over Charleston.

With Saturday's sweep, the Seahawks are off to a 4-0 start.

Against Charleston, Lyvia Trimp and Maddy Folks cruised to a straight-set 21-15, 21-10 win at the number two position to clinch the victory.

UNCW takes on host South Carolina at 11 a.m. on Sunday when the Wheeler Beach Bash resumes. The Seahawks close out the weekend with a 3 p.m. start against Chattanooga.
