Sandy Hawks Sweep Charleston To Open Season

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW opened its season with a pair of 5-0 shutout wins over longtime rival College of Charleston on Saturday in college beach volleyball action at the Shoreline Sports Complex.

The Seahawks improved to 2-0 with the sweep while the Cougars fell to 0-2.

UNCW heads to Columbia, S.C., for the Wheeler Beach Bash on Mar. 2-3.
