WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Harry's Game, a charity men's soccer friendly to promote inclusion and acceptance for special needs children, will once again cap five spring matches as the UNCW men's soccer team prepares for the upcoming fall 2024 season.

The Seahawks will play four home exhibitions at the UNCW Soccer Stadium, including staging the 10th annual Harry's Game on Saturday, Apr. 20, vs. Liberty at 6 p.m.

The spring slate will begin on Feb. 10 vs. Carolina Core FC, an MLS Next club, at home. UNCW then hosts Cape Fear Community College on Feb. 23. (UNCW's orginally-schedule match at Wingate was cancelled).

The Seahawks will host Coastal Carolina for a Friday night scrimmage on Mar. 22 and are idle until they welcome Belmont Abbey to the Port City on Apr. 13.

Liberty will make its first appearance in Harry's Game one week after UNCW plays the Crusaders. A free pre-game children's clinic will be held before kick-off from 4-5:15 p.m. at the UNCW Soccer practice field, adjacent to the playing pitch.

Harry's Game is named after UNCW Head Coach Aidan Heaney's son, Harry, who was born with Down Syndrome.

The springtime staple was born out of a desire to shed the stigma around a child's limit to have fun and interact with others just because they may need a unique kind of help. It exists to showcase that any child's personality and joy exist beyond any obstacles they may face in dealing with a disability.

Admission to the UNCW Soccer Stadium is free for all non-Harry's Game spring matches. An announcement on ticket prices and on-sale dates for Harry's Game will be made at a later date.
