Spring Training Banquet Set For Late January

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW head baseball coach Randy Hood has announced national college baseball writer Joe Healy will be the keynote speaker for the 22nd Annual Spring Training Banquet, set for Jan. 31, on campus at the Burney Center.

Healey is a longtime college baseball writer and joined the staff at D1Baseball.com in October of 2022. Before that, Healy spent four years in a similar role at Baseball America.

Joining Healey as a speaker that evening will be senior catcher Bryan Arendt, who has helped the Seahawks to back-to-back Coastal Athletic Association championships in 2023 and 2024.
