Men's Golf Selection Show Gathering Set

Wrightsville Beach Brewery will host the gathering at 1 p.m. on Wednesday

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UNCW men's golf team will learn its destination for the 2023 NCAA Regionals on Wednesday at a gathering at the Wrightsville Beach Brewery at 1 p.m. The selection show will be aired by Golf Channel.

The Seahawks earned the Colonial Athletic Association's automatic berth to the postseason after winning the conference championship for an eighth time. Led by CAA medalist Patrick Sparks, the Seahawks fashioned a nine-stroke victory over runner-up Elon last month at the Cotton Dike Course at Dataw Island, S.C.

UNCW will be making its 11th appearance as a team in the NCAA Regionals and last competed in a regional during the 2021 season when it earned an at-large berth to the Noblesville (Ind.) Regional.

Following UNCW's last conference championship in 2019, the Seahawks competed in the Athens (Ga.) Regional.
