Isley Takes CAA Golfing Honors For Third Time

UNCW senior has been named Golfer of the Week following each outing this fall

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW senior Walker Isley was named Golfer of the Week for a third time this fall following his third top-10 finish of the season at the highly competitive Williams Cup earlier this week. Isley has earned CAA honors following each tournament this fall.

Isley (70-72-75=217) finished 10th at the event that included three programs in GolfStats' top-10 and all 10 programs were in the top 100. This fall, Isley has second and third overall at the Gopher Invitational and Rod Myers Intercollegiate, respectively.

Through three tournaments, Isley has fashioned a 70.44 stroke average and eight of his nine rounds have been par-or-better scores.

The Seahawks close out their fall schedule later this month, Oct. 29-31, when they compete at the Daniel Island Invitational in Charleston, S.C.
