Baseball Preview: at Northeastern

Seahawks, Huskies Meet At Friedman Diamond

BROOKLINE, Mass. - The Seahawks open a three-game series against reining Colonial Athletic Association champion Northeastern on Friday at 2 p.m. as the two meet for the first time since last year's conference championship game.

The Seahawks enter the weekend sitting at 10-8 in conference play and in fourth place overall. The Huskies, meanwhile, evened their record at 9-9 with a series win at Hofstra last weekend. Both teams are coming off strong midweek showings with the Seahawks taking a 13-11 slugfest from NC State and the Huskies dealing #13 UConn and 9-4 setback.

UNCW is making its first visit to the Boston area since 2018 when it won the series. The only Seahawk on the roster to have played at Friedman Diamond is Noah Bridges.

The series closes out with 1 p.m. starts on both Saturday and Sunday.
