Baseball Preview: Col. of Charleston

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW welcomes the College of Charleston to Brooks Field this weekend in yet another key Coastal Athletic Association South Division series as the season winds down.

The series opens Friday with a 6 p.m. start, followed by 4 p.m. and 2 p.m. starts on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

The Seahawks enter the series having swept Elon last weekend to move to 13-8, while the Cougars were on the other end of a sweep, falling to Campbell three times, to drop to 10-11.

This weekend is the second of two series between the programs, with UNCW earning a series win at Patriots Point in mid-March.

On Saturday, the Seahawks will hold Military Appreciation Day with the team wearing one-of-a-kind jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game.

The Seahawks, who will have five home games remaining following this weekend, next host Big South Conference co-leader High Point on May 5 at 6 p.m.
