Sparks Named CAA Golfer of the Week

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW sophomore Patrick Sparks was named Golfer of the Week after finishing fourth at the Wofford Invitational and helping the Seahawks to their third tournament win of the spring season.

Sparks set a career-low score for 54 holes at 210 and his second round seven-under-par was also a career-best.

The Seahawks and Wofford tied for the tournament win, but UNCW edged the Terriers in a one-hole playoff for the trophy.

Next up for the Seahawks is the CAA Championships on Apr. 24-26 in Beaufort, S.C.
