Beach Volleyball Sweeps To Close Regular Season

SALISBURY, N.C. – UNCW made quick work of Morehead State and Catawba by identical scores of 5-0 in its final tune ups before the ASUN Conference Championship later this month in Huntsville, Ala.

UNCW will carry a program-record setting 21-9 mark into the conference championship slated for Apr. 22-25.

Brianna Haggerty, a sophomore, won twice to push her record to 21-9 on the season and build upon her single season record for wins.

Also hitting the 20-win mark for the season were sophomore Ellie Bucci and Ashley Thompson, a junior.

Maddy Folks, a freshman, pushed her record to 16-3 and her winning percentage of .842 is also a program-record.
