Knisely Wins Twice At South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. – UNCWs Brooke Knisely continued her winning ways with two event wins to pace UNCW on Saturday in a dual meet setback to host South Carolina at the Carolina Natatorium.

The Gamecocks ran their records to 3-1 on both the men's and women's sides while the Seahawk women dipped to 3-8 and the men to 4-3.

Knisely, who also won the 500 and 1000 Freestyles last weekend against Liberty, posted a pair of season-best times in winning the same events on Saturday. She posted a times of 4:57.91 and 10:02.57 in the 500 and 1000, respectively.

On the men's side, freshmen Aidan Duffy and Will Goldey delivered wins in the 200 Breaststroke and Backstroke, respectively. Duffy fashioned a season-best time of 2:01.84 while Goldey clocked in with a time of 1:51.25.

UNCW's men's team visits second-ranked NC State next on Jan. 28.
