OWINGS MILLS, Md. – UNCW returned to the win column on Saturday with a dominant 5-0 win at Stevenson in beach volleyball action at the Stevenson Beach Courts.

The Seahawks ran their record to 4-9 while the Mustangs dropped their season opener.

Sadie Sharkey and Casey Goodwin overwhelmed their opponents at the second pairing with a 21-5, 21-16 win.

In the lone match to go three sets, Mya Duggan and Reagan Evans captured the third set, 15-10, after trailing early, 3-0.

The Seahawks and Mustangs play again Sunday at 11 a.m.
