Coastal Clips Beach Volleyball, 3-2

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Coastal Carolina edged UNCW, 3-2, with a close win at the second pairing on Sunday in beach volleyball action.

The Chanticleers moved to 9-4 with the win while the Seahawks slid to 3-8.

The two teams split the duals at the fourth and fifth pairing with UNCW's Ellie Bucci and Tyla Cutrie winning the third set, 15-10, in the fifth pairing.

Rachel Schaffer and Elena Turnbull gave UNCW a 2-1 lead with a straight set win in the third pairing.

The Seahawks host their lone tournament of the season on Mar. 27-28 at Capt. Bill's Backyard Grill.
