WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UNCW beach volleyball program returns to the courts this weekend at the College of Charleston Invitational in Charleston, S.C.
Joining the Seahawks are Jacksonville, Coastal Carolina and the host Cougars. UNCW and CofC open the tournament on Saturday with a 9:30 a.m. start. UNCW and Jacksonville will play at noon the same day. The Seahawks and Chanticleers close out their weekends on Sunday with first serve set for noon.
UNCW is coming off a 1-3 weekend earlier this month in Conway, S.C. The Seahawks were swept by nationally-ranked foes South Carolina and Stetson, beat Charleston and fell to host CCU.
UNCW and CofC have split a pair of match this season and will play two more times following this weekend.
