JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – UNCW opened with a pair of losses to open the season falling to North Florida and the College of Charleston on Friday at the Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex.

Against UNF in the opener, the Seahawks were swept at all four pairings and dropped the fifth by default.

Against Charleston, Reagan Evans and Casey Godwin earned a 21-14, 21-19 win for UNCW's lone victory in a 4-1 setback.

Up next: The Seahawks close out the opening weekend with Erskine at 10:45 a.m. and Mercer at 1:45 p.m.
