Beach Volleyball Season Ends With 4-1 Loss

EMERSON, Ga. – UNCW saws its season come to an end on Saturday with a 4-1 loss to Florida Atlantic in the elimination round of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association tournament at LakePoint.

The Seahawks close out season with a mark of 8-16 while FAU advances with a record of 13-14.

Seniors Maddy Kline and Katie McCullough had UNCW's lone win of the dual, edging Amanda Silva and Nicole Grant, 21-19, 21-16, at the one's pairing.

Brynn Montgomery and Raquel Rooney took their match to three sets before bowing 15-12 in the final set to Sam Gott and Savannah Pesante.
