Beach Volley Comes Up Short To UAB

ATLANTA, Ga. – UNCW (7-10) dropped its third one-point dual of the weekend as UAB edged the Seahawks, 3-2, on Saturday at the GSU Beach Volleyball Complex.

Lexie Hamilton and Jaime Thomas posted a three-set win in the two pairing and Raquel Rooney and Brynn Montgomery swept UAB in the fourth pairing.

Elena Turnbull and Kyla Augustine fell in three sets in the fifth pairing.

The Seahawks play in their final tune up for the CCSA Championship tournament Apr. 12-13 at the Palmetto Invitational in Columbia, S.C.
