WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Fans of the UNCW men's soccer team will have a chance to get to know their favorite Seahawks during the 2018 season with "Beyond the 18." UNCWSports.com will feature a different player each week with some fun facts.
This week's featured student-athlete is redshirt senior goalkeeper
Ryan Cretens. A native of Zebulon, N.C., Cretens has started every game in goal for the Seahawks since the start of the 2016 season, a streak of 47 consecutive contests.
In 10 games this season, Cretens has posted a 0.60 goals against average while stopping 84.2 percent of the shots he has faced.
