Seahawks Led By Lowe On Day One Of USC Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Junior Adyson Lowe's fourth-place finish on the 3-meter board was UNCW's best finish during the first day of the South Carolina Invitational on Friday at the Carolina Natatorium.

The Seahawks lead Wingate in both the men's and women's meets but trail Queens and host South Carolina in the other two meets.

Lowe scored 273.55 points in taking fourth.

In swimming action, a pair of fifth-place finishes paced the Seahawks. Junior Meagan Johnson took fifth in the 100 Breaststroke while sophomore Connor Forsythe was fifth in the 200 Butterfly. Adding a fifth-place showing was Lacey Phillips for the Seahawks.

The meet concludes on Saturday with a 10 a.m. start.
