WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW baseball visits longtime rival East Carolina on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. start at Clak-LeClair Stadium.

The Seahawks are coming off a non-conference series win over North Carolina Central which moved UNCW's record to 13-17. East Carolina, meanwhile, has a seven-game losing streak it's looking to snap following an American Athletic Conference road sweep at the hands of Houston.

Freshman Chris Joyner will make his starting debut for the Seahawks after making 11 appearances as a reliever.

ECU's Kirk Morgan will make his second start of the season. He tossed three shutout innings and didn't figure in the decision of a 3-2 loss to North Carolina.

UNCW sophomore Alex Royalty was named the Colonial Athletic Association Co-Pitcher-of-the-Week on Monday following his eight-inning, 12-strikeout performance against North Carolina Central last Friday. Royalty tossed eight shutout innings of UNCW's 3-0 win.

UNCW returns to conference play this weekend when it opens a three-game series with visiting James Madison at 6 p.m. on Friday.
