Baseball Preview: at #3 North Carolina

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks (20-15) conclude their nine-game road stretch tonight when they visit nationally-ranked North Carolina (30-6-1) for a 6 p.m. start at Boshamer Stadium.

Tuesday's game will be streamed on ESPN+ and will be aired locally in Wilmington on ESPN Wilmington 101.7 FM.

The Seahawks are looking to bounce back from a pair of losses at Campbell over the weekend, while the Tar Heels earned a series win at Clemson.

Seahawk freshman Trey Williford was honored as the league's Freshman of the Week on Monday.

UNCW returns to Brooks Field this weekend for a three-game conference series with Hofstra beginning on Friday at 6 p.m.

This weekend will include the induction of the Class of 2026 into the UNCW Athletics Hall of Fame. Those being inducted are former men's basketball coach Jerry Wainwright, tennis standout Rafael Aita, all-time volleyball great Amy Chilausky, and former UNCW baseball coach Mark Scalf. The class will be recognized before Saturday's game.
