Beach Volleyball Winning Streak Comes To End

 
CHARLESTON, South Carolina – UNCW's six-dual winning streak came to a halt on Saturday as the Seahawks dropped two duals to nationally-ranked Tulane and the College of Charleston at the CofC Beach Classic.

The Seahawks saw their record fall to 8-4 while 18th-ranked Tulane moved to 13-5 and Charleston to 5-3.

In Saturday's opener, Tulane posted a 5-0 win over the Seahawks. In the finale for UNCW, it was 4-1 in favor of CofC. UNCW's top pair of Tanna Aljoe and Nicole Lott won in convincing fashion, 21-13 and 21-12.

UNCW next hosts the Beach Blast on Apr. 1-2 at Dig and Dive.
