WILMINGTON, North Carolina – It's not uncommon for a college team to go through a stretch of having a youthful squad or a stretch of having an experienced roster.

But, for the UNCW women's soccer team, the 2017 roster has been filled with a larger amount of youth with 16 newcomers, including 13 true freshmen.

Sydney Brock of the Seahawk Digital Network explains how the youth of Coach Paul Cairney's group has guided the Seahawks this season.
