This Week In Seahawk Baseball | We Are UNCW feature on Mark Scalf

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW welcomes nationally-ranked Coastaol Carolina to Brooks Field on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. start. The game is the first of five for the Seahawks this week.

The Seahawks clinched a Colonial Athletic Association tournament berth last weekend with a 14-6 win at Elon. UNCW is the only program in the conference to participate in all 30 editions of the championship tournament.

Austin Easter will get the starting nod tonight for UNCW. Easter struck out a career-high six in a relief appearance last week at Elon.

UNCW enters the week ranked 35th in the latest NCAA RPI report.

The Seahawks visit Campbell on Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. first-pitch before returning to Brooks Field this weekend for a three-game series with Delaware. The series opens on Friday at 6 p.m.
