WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The Seahawks welcome long-time rival Campbell to Brooks Field Wednesday when the two programs renew their rivalry at 6 p.m.

The game will be streamed for free by the Seahawk Digital Network on UNCWsports.com. Click here to access the network.

UNCW carries a modest two-game winning streak and wins in seven of the last 10, into the game while the Camels saw their 14-game winning streak halted last night as the College of Charleston, the defending Colonial Athletic Associaton champion, dealt the Camels a 10-3 setback in Buies Creek.

The Seahawks completed a sweep of the two-time defending Ivy League champion Columbia on  Monday with a 10-5 win. Gavin Stupienski powered the Seahawk lineup with four hits, including his third homer of the season, as UNCW bolted out to a 7-1 lead after two innings. Whitman Barnes picked up the win with 4.1 innings of perfect relief, setting all 12 batters he faced down in order.

Sophomore righthander Cory Gantz will make his first start of the season for the Seahawks after four releief appearances.

Last season, the Seahawks swept the home-and-home series from the Camels with a pair of 3-0 wins. The Camels, though, would win the Big South title and advance to the NCAA tournament.
