WILMINGTON, N.C. – Fueled by event wins in the 400 Medley Relay and Hannah Croxton in the 1-meter dive, UNCW gained a split of a pair of dual meets with Liberty and Georgia Southern on Friday at the Seahawk Natatorium.

The Seahawks topped Georgia Southern (108-96), but fell to Liberty (113-89). In the other meet, Liberty finished off a sweep with a 110-63 win over GSU.

The relay of Hannah Stephenson, Jenson Engen, Cat Gargula and Katie Grose combined to win the opening relay of the meet with a time of 3:55.68.
Croxton then totaled 238.35 points to win the lone diving competition of the meets.

Liberty, which swept its two meets, won six-of-eight relay events.

The three schools, in addition to College of Charleston, will compete Saturday in a quad meet beginning at 2 p.m. UNCW will honors its men and women seniors prior to the meet.
