Seahawks Visit Red-Hot Campbell For Three

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – UNCW and Campbell, who will play each other a total of six times this season, meet in game one of a key conference series this weekend at Jim Perry Stadium on Friday at 6 p.m.

With the move to divisions, the Seahawks will host the Camels on the final weekend of the season.

The highly anticipated series will be streamed on FloCollege.com, and ESPN Wilmington will have the audio broadcast locally in Wilmington on 101.7 FM. Links to all coverage can be found on the UNCW Baseball schedule page.

The Camels have raced out to an impressive 14-1 start following last weekend's road sweep of William & Mary. Campbell leads the Seahawks by three games in the loss column, but they have yet to have their bye weekend.

UNCW dropped its series at Stony Brook last weekend own an 8-4 record in conference play.

Junior Connor Marshburn (3-2, 3.86 ERA) will take the mound for his ninth start of the season while the Camels counter with Camden Wimbish (1-1, 3.78 ERA), also a junior righthander.

The series continues Saturday with a 3 p.m. start and concludes on Sunday with first pitch set for 1 p.m.
