Sistrunk, Trimp Take SBC Honors Again

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Following an impressive 4-0 week in Sun Belt Conference play, UNCW's Gracie Sistrunk and Lyvia Trimp were honored Wednesday as the league's pair of the week.

The pairing also earned the honor last week and pushed its winning streak to eight duals this week.

Against Georgia State, the pairing posted UNCW's lone win, a three-set victory at the number one pairing. In the second dual of the day, Sistrunk and Trimp posted a straight=-set win.

On day two, it was another straight-set win for Sistrunk and Trimp against Mercer, and in a loss to Southern Miss, they had UNCW's lone win of the dual.

The Seahawks return to action April 10-11, when they host Coastal Carolina and the College of Charleston.
