Wynn Runs To CAA Track Honors

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW freshman Jace Wynn set a pair of program records in his collegiate debut and has been tabbed as the Coastal Athletic Association's Track Athlete of the Week.

At the Seahawk Invitational, Wynn set freshman records in the 200 meters with a time of 21.50 seconds and in the 400 when he clocked in with a time of 47.25.

Both of those times placed him in the top five in the East Region through the opening weeks of the season.

UNCW returns to action this weekend at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
