Miralrio Earns CAA Offensive Player of the Week

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW junior Bryan Miralrio has been named Coastal Athletic Association Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after recording five points while helping the Seahawks to an unbeaten week.

Miralrio, who is UNCW's second straight CAA Offensive Player of the Week honoree, scored a goal in both matches and recorded an assist last weekend. The 6-3 forward has notched a point in three straight contests.

The Seahawks mounted a two-goal comeback last Tuesday at No. 1 Wake Forest that began with Miralrio's first goal of the season in the 71st minute.

In Miralrio's first start of the year on Saturday vs. Charleston, he enjoyed a career-high three-point day as the Seahawks claimed a 4-2 victory. The junior notched a goal six minutes into the match and then assisted Osei Gyamfi's 54th-minute strike to seal the win.

This is Miralrio's first career Offensive Player of the Week distinction after earning Rookie of the Week in 2023.

UNCW travels to the nation's capital to play American on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
