Logan Captures CAA Golfer of the Week

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW's John Logan has captured his second straight Coastal Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week award after a top-five finish at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.

Logan's fourth-place result at The Oviinbyrd Golf Club was highlighted by a course-tying nine-under-par 63 score in Monday's second round. The Wilmington, N.C., native produced a 73-63-71=207 scorecard to finish one stroke ahead of teammate Gray Mitchum in the three-day tournament.

The 6-0 junior was previously named CAA Golfer of the Week on Sept. 10 following his individual win at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational.

The Seahawks are idle until they open play at the Elon Phoenix Invitational from Oct. 13-14.
