Logan Earns CAA Golfer of the Week

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW's John Logan has captured Coastal Athletic Association Men's Golfer of the Week honors following his first outright collegiate title at Duke's Rod Myers Invitational last weekend.

Logan (67-69-71=207) matched the tournament-high with 16 birdies while helping the Seahawks to a second-place finish in their season opener. The Wilmington, N.C. native opened the first round with a five-under-par 67 and followed with a pair of below-par rounds for individual medalist honors.

The North Alabama transfer previously earned a share of first place at the 2024 Savannah Collegiate with the Lions before transferring to UNCW last season. The Rod Myers win represents his first as a Seahawk.

UNCW continues its season at the Canadian Collegiate in MacTier, Ontario, Canada, from Sept. 14-16.
