Women's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW women's soccer head coach Chris Neal has unveiled the Seahawks' full 17-match schedule, highlighted by nine home contests at UNCW Soccer Stadium in 2025.

The Seahawks will also play eight away matches as well as a three-match exhibition season. To begin exhibition play, UNCW will travel to Longwood on Aug. 3 (noon) and North Carolina, the defending national champions, on Aug. 6 (6 p.m.).

The Seahawks will return to Wilmington for their final exhibition match against The Citadel on Aug. 9 (7 p.m.).

The Seahawks will play a challenging non-conference schedule, beginning the regular season at home against Charlotte on Aug. 14 (7 p.m.).

Home non-conference matches also include Ohio State, Georgia Southern, and Western Carolina. UNCW will face UNCG, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina and High Point on the road.

In June, the CAA announced its divisional scheduling format for the 2025 season. UNCW will join Campbell, College of Charleston, Elon, Hampton and William & Mary in the CAA South Division.

During the regular season, teams will play nine league matches, including one match against each team in their division and four matches against teams from the other division. All matches will count in the standings.

The Seahawks' non-divisional league matches will be against Northeastern, Monmouth, Hofstra and Stony Brook, the defending champions.

UNCW will open up CAA play on the road at Northeastern and Monmouth, but will return to the Hawk's Nest to play five of their last seven CAA matches at home.

The quarterfinals of the 2025 CAA Tournament will be on Oct. 30. The semifinals will be held on Nov. 2, and the championship match will take place on Nov. 8.
