Baseball Fan Guide: #21 Coastal Carolina

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW wraps up its annual home-and-home series with Coastal Carolina on Tuesday when the programs meet at Brooks Field for a 6 p.m. start.

Both programs are coming off winning weekends with the Seahawks (16-16) taking their road series at Hofstra and the Chanticleers (23-9) winning their Sun Belt Conference series at home against Arkansas State.

Coastal Carolina returned to the national rankings earlier this month and is as high as 21st in the D1 Baseball rankings.

The Chanticleers earned a 6-1 win against UNCW in Conway earlier this season.

The Seahawks welcome William & Mary, the top offensive program in the Coastal Athletic Association, this weekend for a three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. This weekend will also be Alumni Weekend with the 1975 NAIA World Series team and the 2015 CAA Championship team being recognized on Saturday before the game.
